William Caesar BSc.Kin MSc.PT FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine. Acupuncture and Dry Needling
Prior to completing my Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology at the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI), I suffered a career altering injury my senior year of high school tearing my ACL on my right knee. This inspired me to pursue a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at Manchester Metropolitan University in England. During my masters, I changed my mind-set from a basketball perspective to a deeper level of academic thinking, and clinical reasoning. While not giving up on my dreams of playing basketball at the highest possible level, I managed to make the Semi-Professional basketball team in Manchester after attending an open try-out, later earning the starting point guard position for 2 seasons. During my undergrad at UPEI, time management and hard work were 2 of my biggest assets due to being on an athletic basketball scholarship, as well as serving as the Head Student Therapist for both the UPEI Men’s Soccer team for 3 years, and the Island Storm of the National Basketball League of Canada for 2 years. I suffered a second ACL tear on my left knee during my second year at UPEI, and the second time around forced me to think deeper into sport science, combined with strength and conditioning, and physiotherapy.
During my summers, I returned to my hometown of Toronto to rehab, and workout at FITS Toronto where I met Dr. Lam, and have built a close relationship with ever since. While in England, I also earned a FIFA Diploma in Football (Soccer) medicine, which allows me to assess, analyze, and treat injuries from a wider perspective.
Given my extensive sports background, and as well as sustaining serious knee and shoulder injuries, I personally know the importance of physical therapy, strength & conditioning, and injury prevention. My personal experience from suffering multiple injuries, taught me how to both cope and manage with them, which later inspired and motivated me to become the Physiotherapist that I am today.
I am also committed to life long learning, and have a strong belief in continuing education, having recently taken a course in soft tissue release therapy. I also plan on improving my knowledge and skills in dry needling, and currently in the process in achieving my orthopaedic manual therapy levels.
I am thrilled to be a member of the FITS healthcare team. My goal is to make an impact in the community, & improving the quality of lives of others.

After completing a Bachelor of Physical Health & Education from the University of Toronto, I graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Master of Rehabilitation Sciences. After spending a year working as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in Toronto, I ventured off to the University of Sydney for a Master of Physiotherapy in 2016. Upon becoming a physiotherapist, I worked in Sydney at the highest level of professional rugby league (NRL) as a physiotherapist for 3 seasons. I was fortunate to be the head physiotherapist for the Canterbury Bulldogs NSWRL Cup team for 2020.
From the past 5 years working as a physiotherapist, I have gained invaluable experience working at various capacities with top level amateur to professional basketball, hockey, Australian Football League, and cross-fit athletes.
